What is Caribbean Sun’s return policy?

We want you to love your new Caribbean Sun!  If you didn’t get the right sunglass the first time, we are happy to exchange your sunglass for a different one of your choice.  If you are not happy with your Caribbean Sun sunglasses, we will honor a return within 30 days of purchase from www.caribbeansuneyewear.com for unworn, unaltered products. 

 

Shipping and Order info

What is included in free shipping?

Standard ground shipping.  Standard delivery times are 3-5 working days from finalized order.  Please note your order total must reach $99 for shipping, even if you add a discount.

What if I’m about to go on vacation and I need them FAST?

We can’t let you vacation without your Caribbean Sun’s!  At check out, please upgrade your shipping for the timeframe that meets your needs.  We will do our best to process your order in a timely manner.  Please feel free to email us too at hello@caribbeasuneyewear.com and we can do our best to accommodate processing your order quicker.

Warranty

What is covered by Caribbean Sun’s Warranty?

Caribbean Sun warrants that purchased product is free from manufacturing defects (in material or workmanship) for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Does my warranty cover scratched lenses?

Caribbean Sun warranty does not cover scratches on sun lenses; damages caused by accidents, abuse, neglect, improper use, or storage of the product; unauthorized modifications or repairs; normal wear and tear as well as any issues connected to the prescription lenses. 

What is considered normal wear and tear?  

We get it, we love our sunglasses too!  Normal wear and tear to us is considered  as; scratches on the lenses and bent frames. Of course, these are only considered typical damages from normal use if they occur while they're in your possession.  

How do I make a warranty claim?

For sunglasses purchased through our website, product registration must be completed to start a warranty claim.  For product registration please click here.  For product which has already been registered, please click here to be taken to our repair form.

What happens after I make a warranty claim?

Once your warranty claim is submitted and reviewed, if your sunglass is applicable for a warranty claim, your product will be replaced with a new one or, if the model is not available anymore, you will be provided with a code to purchase a replacement pair of the same value. 

What happens if my sunglasses are not eligible under a warranty claim?

Not all hope is lost!  There is still a possibility we can process a repair to get your sunglasses back to new!  Please click here to be taken to our repair form.

How long will my sunglasses last?  

How well your sunglasses are cared for plays a signficant role in deciding their longevity.  Proper storage and regular cleaning of your Caribbean Sun sunglasses will help to preserve them.

Product Registration

Why should I register my Caribbean Sun sunglasses?

Product registration helps to remove the frustration should something happen to your beloved sunglasses.  Once your product is registered, your 12 month warranty will go into effect (from purchase date).  Without product registration we cannot help to process warranty claims.  Please click here to go to our product registration form.

How do I register my Caribbean Sun sunglasses if I purchased at Walmart Optical?

What if I don’t have my Authorized Retailer receipt?  

Unfortunately, without a receipt we are unable to confirm order details purchased at Authorized Retailers.  Not all hope is lost though – if you added a Rx lens an Authorized Retailer, a sales associate will be able to locate your sale by your name.  Still stuck? Damaged Lenses

Help! I can’t see out of my scratched lens?!?

While we’re still working on making invincible sunglasses, scratch lenses can happen but that doesn’t mean toss them!  We are typically able to offer replacement lenses for our Caribbean Sun sunglasses.  Please click here for our repair form.

Broken/Damaged Frames

Help! I sat on my sunglasses!  Can I get them repaired?

We’re happy to help get you straightened back out!  Though we do not sell replacement parts, we do offer a full frame replacement where we will keep your lenses, and replace the sunglass frame.  Good as new!

Will you send me screws or nose pads?

Unfortunately, we do not send out parts for customers to make repairs on their own.  However, you can click here to be taken to our repair form where we can get you taken care of! 

Can I still get a discontinued style repaired?

Often once a product is discontinued we no longer carry stock or parts for it.  But we’ve been doing this a long time, and we just might be able to help.  Send us an email at hello@caribbeasuneyewear.com, let us know the style number and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

Product Information

How do I know what pair of sunglasses will fit me?

One size doesn't always fit all. That's why we’re continually innovating new sunglass frame styles. On our website, each sunglass style is labeled as either narrow, regular, or wide fit. Regular fit is our most common. When shopping online, you can choose to filter sunglasses by fit to see which frame options might be best for you. Specific sunglass measurements are available under each sunglass detail information. If for any reason the fit just doesn’t work out for you once you’ve received your sunglasses, you can return them! 

Rx Lenses - COMING SOON

Can I get my Caribbean Sun’s with Rx lenses? 

Yes, all Caribbean Sun frames can be fitted with Rx sunglass lenses. Simply select your frame, the type of lenses you’d like and follow the information when prompted.

How do I send my prescription? 

 To be able to process your prescription order we require vaild, non-expired prescription and may need pupillary distance measurement (often referred to as PD). We will ask for your prescription after check-out. You will be able to choose between 2 options:

Scan or take a picture of your prescription and upload it in digital format when you are placing your order email it to hello@caribbeasuneyewear.com

If your prescription values are more than +/- 3 we’ll also need your pupillary distance (often referred to as PD). PD not on your prescription slip? Don’t worry, you can measure it at home. Learn here.

Each State has varying regulations regarding the validity of eyewear prescriptions which we fully comply to. We are unable to accept out of date prescriptions and will cancel orders which are sent in with an out of date prescription.

How do I change my prescription?

Care

How do I care for my Caribbean Sun?

Our premium microfiber cleaning cloth are your best bets for keeping your Caribbean Sun's in top shape. Keep them in their protective case, away from extreme temperatures (translation: don't leave them on the dash of your pickup). Regular tightening of your hinge screws will also help maintain your frame. Follow these guidelines and your Caribbean Sun's will help you see what's out there for years to come.

How do I change or cancel my order?  

To change or cancel an order you recently submitted, please contact our Customer Service team at hello@caribbeasuneyewear.com as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request. 


However, please be aware that as our system is designed to fulfill orders very quickly, after the first hour we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to cancel or change the order as it may have entered the shipping process. 

Will Caribbean Sun sell my information?

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. Caribbean Sun uses the information submitted on warranty registrations to assist us in improving our products and services. Your information will remain completely confidential and will never be shared, sold, or distributed to persons or entities outside of Caribbean Sun Eyewear. You will only receive news from Caribbean Sun Eyewear if you select the option on the online warranty registration form.
